Items for check out
See the front desk to check out items such as movies, games, puzzles,
cards, cribbage board, swimming noodles, and much more (no cost).
The following crafts and activities are held in our rec. room. You need
to sign up for these classes by 9pm the night before the class. The sign
up board is in the rec. room. All children need to have parents with
them. Look for pre-made crafts for sale at the front desk and remember
the crafts make awesome gifts!
Sunday
Teddy Bears
Teddy Bears at 2 pm - Come decorate a t-shirt for your teddy bear.
Please keep in mind we use puffy paints so you will only be able to
decorate one side of your teddy bear’s t-shirt. You will take the teddy
bear with you when you leave and pick up his/her shirt up Monday
morning. The cost is $6 per bear and t-shirt. This class is great for
the little ones.
Monday
Bingo and Glass Etching
Start your day off with a few rounds of Bingo at 10am. Prizes will vary.
This is a free activity and is great for all ages!
Looking for a new glass, coffee cup, vase, or candy dish with a personal
touch? This is a class for you! You will be picking out your own glass
piece then etching it with your favorite design. This class is geared
toward the teen to adult guests, men and women. Projects are $5 each.
Class starts at 2pm.
Tuesday
Coffee and Doughnuts 10am
Candle Making 1pm
Lighted Glass Window Boxes 2pm
Come enjoy a cup of coffee, cocoa, or juice and doughnuts while visiting
with others. Meet in the rec. room at 10 am. (No cost)
Candle making will be at 1pm. We use wax granules to create a scented or
unscented candle. These make great gifts. Price is $6. This is a fast
and easy craft for all ages.
At 2pm we will be making the lighted glass window blocks. You can make
one for a wedding, baby shower, child, or adult. This is our newest
craft. Come try it out! $10
Wednesday
Tie Dye T- Shirts and Painting
Tie Dye your own Causeway on Gull T- shirt at 9am. You will need to sign
up with someone at the front desk for this craft, as we need to make
sure we have a shirt in your size. We have all sizes available from
youth small to adult 2xl. This is a popular class. Youth shirts are $8
and adult shirts are $10.
Starting at 2pm we will have open painting. You can choose a project to
paint. We have a variety of ceramic banks as well as wood products
including birdhouses. The cost will vary from $3.00 to $10.00. Great for
all ages
Thursday
Jewelry and Picture Frames today
During jewelry making you have the option of making earrings or
bracelets. Earrings are $6 each and bracelets are $8 each. Ladies this
is your class! It starts at 10 am.
Come decorate your own wood picture frame. This project costs $5 and is
for all ages. We have a variety of supplies to decorate with. See front
desk for examples. Class starts at 2pm.
There are NO crafts on Friday or Saturday.
